How does the Muslim drink according to the Sunna?
He drinks in three breaths. When the water cup is near his mouth, he utters the Name of Allah تعالى:
بِسْمِ اللهِ
In the Name of Allah.
When he moves away the water cup from him, he praises Allah تعالى:
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
All praise is for Allah.
He does this three times.
